If you are looking for a quiet peaceful location with a pool and local shops, close to but not actually in the holiday centres of Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles or Puerto Rico, then this may be the ideal apartment for you. This luxury apartment is located in a quiet, residential area of San Agustín, just five minutes walk from the local shops and beach. It has two double bedrooms, fully fitted Swedish kitchen, Luxurious lounge with a 12 sq m balcony in front, which overlooks the gardens and pools below, and views across the sea in the distance. It is fully equipped with large screen TV, DVD player, Video, Satellite receiver, stereo unit with USB port. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom; Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave, Safe, Tumble Drier. The kitchen also has both a ceramic hob and a normal oven as well as crockery for up to 8. There is even a small garden with a Barbecue area.
The apartment is part of the popular 'Rocas Rojas' development, and all the shared facilities can be used by the guests. This includes the childrens play ground, heated 25m pool, children´s pool, putting green, bole court, and tennis court. The reception of Rocas Rojas has Internet access and public phones.
San Agustín is an ideal base from which to explore the the island of Gran Canaria, with the historic centre of Aguimes only twenty kilometers away, Las Palmas thirty-five minutes, Mogan thirty minutes in the other direction and other parts of the island which are off the main tourist trails within easy reach. The apartments are on the main bus route which will take you directly to many parts of the island. So whether you want to base yourself here to explore one of the Canaries most varied islands, or to take part in scuba diving or snorkelling in the El Cabrón Marine Reserve, or other adventure activities such as windsurfing, mountain biking or hill walking, this can make a great base for your holiday in Gran Canaria.

Staying in San Agustín

San Agustín was the first part of the South of Gran Canaria to be developed for the Tourists, and as that development has moved progressively South towards Meloneras, San Agustín has matured into a peaceful, relaxed resort. Within five to ten minutes you are on the sea front from where you can stroll along the promenade all the way to Playa del Inglés. There are several good restaurants in the area, and if you want a more lively night out you can walk across the road to the Casino in the Hotel Melia Tamarindos. There are a selection of small shops close to the apartment, and a little further away is the larger San Agustín Shopping Centre. You are still only five to ten minutes from Playa Del Ingles, and within five minutes walk you also come to the main Bus Route, and can get a bus from there to either Las Palmas in the North, or Playa del Ingles, Puerto Rico or Mogan in the South.
If you want to dive with us in the marine reserve our free pick-up service will collect you from here and within about 15 minutes you will be in our Diving Centre in Arinaga.
